At Roseberry Qld we are committed to enabling people to break out of the cycle of disadvantage and poverty by having a safe and sustainable place to live and grow. We provide a range of housing support from crisis response to long term housing and manage a property portfolio of over 190 homes.

Accommodation options
Affordable accommodation
Furnished studio cabins for working members of the Gladstone community earning in the low to middle income bracket. These properties are owned and managed by Roseberry QLD.
Long term community housing
Properties are owned by the Dept of Housing and managed by Roseberry Qld. When vacant properties arise, Roseberry are sent suitable applicants from the Department to commence intake process for a new tenancy.

Mobile tenancy support
Offers tailored assistance to young people aged 16–25 living independently, helping them maintain tenancies through emotional support, advocacy, referrals, and practical help.
Education & Employment Housing Program
Properties are owned by the dept of housing and managed by Roseberry Qld. Designed for First Nations workers and students relocating from a remote community to a regional centre such as gladstone to work or study. To be eligible, you must meet the social housing eligibility criteria and provide proof of study or ongoing employment.
Crisis accommodation program
For singles and families aged 16-25 in need of supported accommodation. CAP provides short-term housing and support for people in Rockhampton and Gladstone, focusing on developing independent living skills and securing long-term accommodation. Properties managed by Roseberry Qld.

How to register with the Department of Housing
Contact a Housing Service Centre

Understand Your Housing Needs

Identify preferred location, number of bedrooms, and any special requirements (e.g., disability access).
 
Complete the Application Form
- 
Download the application form.
 - 
Gather required supporting documents
 
Sign the Form with a Witness
- 
Approved witnesses include: Queensland Government employees, Registered community housing providers, Justice of the Peace or solicitor
 - 
Provide 2 forms of ID to the witness.
 
Submit Your Application
- 
Submit at a Housing Service Centre, QGAP office, or courthouse.
 
Await Assessment
- 
You’ll be notified in writing about your eligibility and housing options.
 
Update Your Information
- 
Notify the Housing Service Centre of any changes within 28 days.
