Roseberry House

Our Gladstone youth shelter offers short-term supported accommodation for young people aged 16 – 25 years who are experiencing homelessness. Roseberry House operates 24/7, 365 days a year. Roseberry House staff work to enhance the dignity and independence of young people while recognising the importance of family. Young people are provided with basic living skills, information, referral and advocacy to broaden the young person’s support network and ensure their identified needs are met. All referral pathways are welcome.

Jack's House

Jack’s House is a 24/7 crisis shelter for young people aged 16 – 25 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Rockhampton region. Jacks House is staffed 365 days a year. Jacks House staff work to enhance the dignity and independence of young people while recognising the importance of families and providing basic living skills, information and referral and advocacy to broaden the young person’s support network, ensuring their identified needs are met. All referrals are welcome.

Immediate Housing Response (IHR)

Provides short-term and temporary refuge accommodation assistance for Queenslanders experiencing, or at imminent risk of homelessness. The IHR is delivered by government funded services and Roseberry Qld provide this service for individuals and couples in Gladstone.

Dignity Hub

Our Dignity Hub provides community members and families (of any age bracket) experiencing homelessness access to free:

  • Laundry facilities

  • Bathroom facilities

  • Kitchenette (tea and coffee-making facilities)

  • Provide access to perishable food items for those experiencing crisis

  • Information and referral to other services

 

There is an ongoing need for donations at Roseberry Qld for the people accessing our Dignity Hub. Non-perishable food items and toiletries are always in high demand.
