For 25 years, Jack’s House in Rockhampton has been a safe place for young people experiencing crisis or homelessness, a space where they can pause, breathe and rebuild. Over that time, hundreds of young people have walked through those doors needing safety, stability and support.
As we mark 25 years of providing this essential service, we’re inviting our community to take part in something simple but deeply meaningful:
Give $25 for 25 years of supporting local young people.

While government funding covers the core operations of Jack’s House, the reality is that creating a homely, welcoming and empowering environment takes more than the basics.
Your gift of $25 helps us provide the extras that make a real difference to a young person’s wellbeing and sense of dignity.
Your $25 can help us:
-
Refresh and brighten shared spaces so young people feel safe and comfortable
-
Replace worn furniture or household items used every day
-
Provide personal care packs, clothing, and practical essentials
-
Purchase learning resources, activity supplies, or items that support life‑skills development
-
Offer experiences and opportunities that help young people reconnect, grow, and feel a sense of belonging
These are the things that turn a shelter into a supportive home, the things young people remember long after they leave.
Why your support matters

Your $25 helps us give them not just safety, but comfort, dignity, and hope.
